Dana Beaufait is a second generation dancer from VA who specializes in Fire Spinning, Theatrical & Tribal Fusion Belly dance. Dana is the creatrix of the art of Voi (Veil + Poi) which was based on her years of experience as both a belly dancer and a fire dancer. In 2007 Dana released ‘Voi: Fireless Poi
Spinning’ on DVD as an instructional tool to promote proper Voi technique to an international audience. Dana enjoys crafting dramatic fantasy and Gothic performances, drawing out character dances with the help of theatrical make-up.
She is the co-creatrix of the ‘Belly dance Creature Factory’ and artistic visionary behind the Rogue Dance Publications projects. Dana has been choreographing, teaching and performing professionally for the last ten years; helping artistic minded individuals bring their creative visions to life from the ground up.

‘Wraith’ Single Voi Choreography Workshop Beginner/Intermediate
Wraith is a dramatic, dark fantasy choreography that depicts a howling ghost as she searches for her dead children. Written for the Undead Edition of ‘The Choreographer’s Notebook’, it is an unusual six count choreography set to a haunting song by Solace. To learn ‘Wraith’ the workshop will include a quick and easy workshop, single Voi technique and drills, a full dark and intense Voi and belly dance choreography and, a relaxing cool down.
